First Guest Post On The Blog!

Hey everyone! I am SO happy to share with you our very first guest post on the blog!

J is one of my favorite bloggers and I’ve enjoyed reading and getting to know her through her blog {An Unstyled Life}.She emailed me asking if I would like to do a guest post. I was super excited because I had never done one before and I of course asked if she would like to do one for me.

So today we are swapping blogs and sharing with everyone the reasons why we blog. So I’m going to let J take over from here and please head on over to her blog {here} & say hello and check out my story of why I blog.

Hey, Letters to Sophia readers! I'm J, and I blog over at An Unstyled Life. I am so excited to be guest posting for Josie today! She's over at my place, so be sure and check out her post!!

So, since we were swapping blogs today, when Josie mentioned she was going to write about why she blogs, I figured I'd write about that too!

Here's my simple answer, I blog to document life with my daughter, M, and my husband.
{M runs the show}

Now, here's my long answer, I love being able to put things that happen in our life down in words so I can go back and remember all of the good and bad times. If I need to remember what it was like when M was a teeny baby, I can go back and relive it through my words. It helps my heart heal when it breaks over how big she's getting.

But, blogging has also brought many, many other wonderful things into my life. I have been introduced to fashion bloggers who have helped me create my own style. I have found incredible food bloggers who have made be a better cook and baker. And I have met some amazing people and had some awesome adventures. Blogging has made me into a better person, and has enriched my life in ways I never dreamed it would.

Now, I should say that I do not blog for internet fame. Sure, I love logging on and seeing that I've gained a new follower or two, who doesn't!? And I absolutely adore my readers, but I don't blog for them. I blog for me.
I also blog for a good cause. Three years ago B, a fellow Texas blogger, told me about March of Dimes March for Babies, and I've been raising money for the babes ever since. We've formed a team this year, and we're working hard toward our goal of $1000.

If you'd like to donate, or join the team, you can do so here.

So, all in all, I blog to chronicle my life with my daughter, but in a weird way, I blog so I can meet awesome people. I blog so I can eat good food. I blog to help myself grow into a better person, the person I want to be. And it's a good way to look back and see how much I've changed through the years.

Now, tell me, why do you blog?

  1. However, people do use Human Growth Hormone for muscle growth and that gives it a
    bad name. If prescribed by a Hormone Replacement Therapy clinic, such as Kingsberg Medical, they are even
    more effective because the treatment is more suited to you and your needs.
    If enough people recommend the product you can be fairly sure that it is worthwhile and safe to use.
