Leaf Fun & A Random Update

It's finally Friday which means I have a few minutes to get on here and update.

It's def Fall here in WV and we are loving it. Even though it's been very cold, everything is so beautiful. I love everything about Fall.

& Sophia does too.

Across the street from my parents little cafe there is this little house with a beautiful tree in their front yard that has all it's leaves on the ground. I asked them if I could come over yesterday to snap some pics of Soph and they let me! The tree has a rope swing on it, it's perfect!

I only got a few pictures bc Soph wanted to head back inside after a few minutes but I loved them.

Everything has been so busy. I hate that I never update my blog as much as I like but hopefully I'll get back into it. Maybe it was easier when Soph was not as mobile .. she's everywhere now!

Sophia will actually be two next Saturday!! I haven't even sent out invites or started planning for her birthday party. This time last year I had list after list and had plans months before. I just feel like such a busy mess anymore. No time for anything. Am I the only one? haha

We also have another person living with us! Gary's best friend Butch moved in with us from VA Beach last Sunday! It's been different but I don't think I'm going to mind at all. We had the extra room and Soph loves him.. so it all works out!

Today is my Dad's Birthday so we're all about to head out for dinner. And then I'm going to stay up all night and get everything ready for a yard sale.. we have SO much to get rid of. And I'm so exhausted already ... anyone want to help?

our trips to the pumpkin patch

The past two weekends we've been to the pumpkin patch. It's about 10 minutes from our home so it's easy to get to and Sophia loves it. My parents know the family who owns the farm so we try to go more than once during the season. This year it has improved SO much. They have more photo props and even had a baby cow.

We've spent almost 30-45 minutes both times we've went. We'll probably go at least one more time this year. We won't be going this weekend. Yesterday we cleaned ALL day and then had people over to watch the WVU game. We beat Texas and we are still undefeated!!!

And today, well we've done nothing at all. It's actually really cold outside so we've been hanging outside. Me and Sophia are still in our pajamas ... and we plan on staying in them all day!
